Adele Songs Leaked From '21' Sessions Removed From Internet

For a short time, we had new Adele.

But an apparent leak of two never-before-heard songs have already been zapped from the Internet.

The tunes in question — "You'll Never See Me Again" and "Never Gonna Leave You" — were recorded in 2010 during sessions for the UK singer's album 21.

Although the music is not readily available anymore, DirectLyrics got a chance to listen to the songs, and provided its analysis:

"You'll Never See Me Again": A standard, very emotional Adele R&B-soul ballad. In the lyrics of the song, the Grammy award winner sings with regret, nostalgia and resignation about a former love. "I won't face your fears / I need to fight my own / You'll never see me again oh baby", sings a mortified Adele. She still loves the man but she just can't be with him anymore.

"Never Gonna Leave You": A ballad where Adele sings to her man and lets him know that she won't leave him despite the difficult times they've had and his insecurities. She's going to fight for their love.

There's nothing too spectacular here; these sound like par-for-the-course Adele tracks that were likely left off her last album because they didn't stack up to the other material.

While we probably won't hear them on her forthcoming album, they might be released in the future as part of a box set, single, etc.

This is not the first time this year that Adele fans have had the rug pulled out from underneath them.

Rumors of a 2014 album release and a world tour were quickly struck down in July after the World Music Awards tweeted "#adele confirms 2015 Tour After The Release Of Her New Album '25'!"

For now, we're forced to wait until the singer's camp is ready to give us the goods.
