After the news came out, representatives for Bieber and Braun denied the claims and clarified that they were still working together.

"Justin is not taking meetings to look for new management," multiple sources told ET. "The two recently worked on something together."

On the other hand, Braun expanded his career by selling his Ithaca Holdings to South Korean K-pop giant, HYBE - the home of the K-pop supergroup BTS. He currently works as the CEO of HYBE America.

Bieber has been working with the music executive since he launched his career in 2006 when he shared videos of himself singing on YouTube. Braun soon connected himself to the artist upon bumping into his cover of Ne-Yo's hit song, "So Sick."

They marked their first meeting at Jermaine Dupri's studio in 2007 before Bieber started releasing his chart-topping albums in the years thereafter.

In related news, Bieber's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez - whom he dated for years before moving on with Hailey Bieber -announced her upcoming song, "Single Soon."

On her Instagram page, the "Lose You To Love Me" singer shared a sneak peek of her new music, which will be released on August 25. At the same time, she unveiled a cryptic post on her Instagram Story, writing: "Don't settle for being someone's sometimes."

Bieber and Gomez had an on-and-off relationship from 2010 to 2018 and continued to become the subject of rumors despite the male singer's marriage to Hailey.

According to fans, Gomez's post seemingly referenced her romantic entanglements and that the song might also focus on her relationship with Bieber. However, this should be taken with a grain of salt as the singer has not spoken about the song's story yet.
