They were meant to spend their wedding night together; however, the "Toxic" diva found herself in Westlake Village at the Four Seasons hotel, staying with her gay best friend and manager, Cade Hudson.

An insider commented that it didn't do the marriage any favors from the get-go: "That immediately started the union on a problematic note."
They further revealed that Britney had expressed her desire to have another baby and form a family with Sam, ultimately leading to a strained relationship. As they said: "It was like a ticking time bomb."
According to another source who spoke to the outlet, Britney and Sam's relationship had been shaky for some time.
Sam was often away at fitness classes, cooking dinners, or going out with pals while Britney was in her little bubble.
The relationship between the former couple has been turbulent for quite some time.
The source divulged: "This couple has had countless issues over the last few months."
"No one expected them to stay together, given the lack of shared goals or interests for a more long-term relationship."
