Lizzo seemed to be unfazed by all the criticisms and accusations hurled her way as she posted her latest trip to Shibuya, Tokyo on Instagram.

The move was quite a questionable one considering the flak and backlash she amassed earlier this month.

Lizzo Sued For Hostile Work Environment, Sexual Assault

Three of Lizzo's former dancers sued her and their dance captain, Shirlene Quigley, in a scathing lawsuit, alleging her to have sexually and religiously assaulted them, among many other damaging accusations.

At one point, the dancers even alleged that Lizzo weight-shamed them, a stark contrast to the body positivity advocacy she has long been championing in the media. Lizzo also was instrumental in the enforcement of the hostile working environment that the three dancers have endured for a long time.

The accusations were also backed up by other people who have worked with Lizzo in the past, including directors and associates among others. More people are said to be coming forward in the coming weeks.

However, Lizzo's existing dancers seemed to have backed her up amid all the drama.

"We have had the time of our lives on The Special Tour. We have been so honored to share the stage with such amazing talent. This tour experience has been beyond just #Special! The commitment to character and culture taking precedence over every movement and moment has been one of the Greatest lessons and blessings that we could possibly ask for," they said in a statement.

Since the drama broke out on social media, Lizzo has only posted on Instagram last Aug. 18, 2023. She posted a video of her trip to Shibuya, Tokyo, seemingly unfazed by all the accusations.

"Our collective gifts have authentically powered the type of energy, love and that support can physiologically help heal the world. We are a unit of unicorns, undeniably resilient and SPECIAL AF," the dancers continued to say.

Lizzo Removed From Super Bowl Halftime Consideration

According to The New York Post, Lizzo was reportedly removed from the consideration of being a headliner at the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show in February 2024.

NFL reportedly deemed the Grammy-winning singer "unacceptable" after the claims that were thrown at her, as she "no longer passes" the socially acceptable smell test by the company's standard.

As of this writing, the news about who will headline Super Bowl 2024 Halftime show remains unclear.
