It seems like Scooter Braun is losing his top clients. First, it was Justin Bieber, then Demi Lovato, and now Ariana Grande
The news of Grande parting ways with Braun was brought to everyone's attention by journalist Matthew Belloni. He tweeted: "NEWS: Ariana Grande has parted ways with Scooter Braun as her manager," with a bunch of eye emojis.
Fans were partly shocked and partly relieved, after all, many of them assumed that Braun would always be the one to handle the "Positions" singer.
On the other hand, netizens are beginning to suspect that something might be bubbling below the surface given that the famed manager has been losing clients left and right.
"Starting to see a pattern here... lol," a netizen wrote.
"Something in the pipeline for Scooter?" Another added.
As of this writing, though, neither Grande nor Braun has confirmed nor denied anything. However, just a few hours before the news broke, it was reported that Lovato had indeed parted ways with Braun.
Demi Lovato Leaves Scooter Braun
According to reports, the "Cool for the Summer" singer ended her management deal with Braun ahead of the release of her upcoming rock album.
Details regarding the split are relatively unknown, however, many reports say they parted "amicably" about a month ago.
Lovato signed with Braun and his media company, SB Projects, back in 2019. Ahead of the announcement of the pair ending their management deal, Braun even greeted Lovato on her 31st birthday.
The news of Lovato cutting ties with the manager comes a week after rumors that Bieber had parted ways with Braun as well, although, this was later debunked and denied.
Justin Bieber, Scooter Braun's Relationship
For as long as fans can remember, the "Baby" singer has always been managed by Braun, and they share a tight-knit bond.
That is why when the rumors of their management deal coming to an end went viral online, fans were astounded and a little bit confused.
However, reports say that the information is nothing but rumors. Bieber and Braun are not ending their contract.
According to the New York Post, the rumors of the split might have circulated after people found out that Bieber sold his publishing and recorded music catalog for a deal that reached about $200 million.
It should be noted that the news outlet that reported this is Puck News, the same news outlet Belloni works for.
