Jesy Nelson is not part of the celebrations.

Twelve years after Little Mix debuted, its member Leigh-Anne Pinnock marked the special day with a heartfelt Instagram post. She dedicated it to Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, leaving out Nelson.

On Pinnock's Instagram Story, Pinnock reshared a video of herself alongside Edwards and Thirlwall on stage. The post marked the group's 12th anniversary since they participated in "The X Factor" season 8 in 2011.

"My angels - Happy 12 years ladies," she captioned the post.

Nelson, who left the band in 2020 due to mental health issues, was not in the video. Pinnock also did not mention her in the caption.

After she left, Little Mix decided to continue their career as a trio, though they took a break to focus on their solo endeavors afterward.

"It's been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects," the members said after the success of their Confetti tour in 2022. "We can't thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much."

Pinnock, Edwards, and Thirlwall clarified that Little Mix are "here to stay" despite the break, dismissing the idea that they would disband soon.

On the other hand, Nelson marked her solo debut with her single, "Boyz," in 2021.

Why Did Jesy Nelson Leave Little Mix?

Nelson revealed to Glamour that she was no longer on speaking terms with her former bandmates after she left the group. She eventually revealed that she made the decision due to her emotional and mental state, which was reportedly worsened because of the member making her feel conscious about what she wore.

"I'd wear corsets and s- like that to make myself look the size they were," she told Cosmopolitan UK. "Now, I'm not looking at the screen thinking, 'Oh my God, I don't look as good as them.' I feel free.'"

Although Little Mix snubbed her recently, the band mentioned her when the group won the Best Group at The Brit Awards, becoming the first-ever female act to score the accolade.
