In her tireless pursuit of the fountain of youth, it appears that Madonna has chosen to take a page out of Michael Jackson's playbook.
This is by investing in an expensive anti-aging chamber.
According to Radar Online, the diva is forking over $14,000 for a machine that applies a special serum to the skin for rejuvenation.
On the 2015 "Rebel Heart" world tour, Madonna first started incorporating the device into daily life.
According to one of the singer's team members, "She has one in each of the places she calls home, and now she must bring it wherever she goes."
Meanwhile, with an aspiration of reaching 150 years old, Michael Jackson also had a similar set up -- a hyperbaric chamber that contained more oxygen than the standard air.
Shortly before the "Vogue" hitmaker's six-month world tour scheduled to start on July 15, she was rushed to the hospital, and all plans - including those for the chamber - were put on hold.
Rather than ride in the typical cramped conditions of an economy flight, one source has revealed that Madonna has even more demands, and went as far as requesting a dedicated seat for her religious books.
"The Torah has been upgraded to first-class status," the source with knowledge.
For many years, the singer and songwriter has taken a keen interest in the Jewish religious tradition of Kabbalah. In 2004, she adopted an additional name, Esther, to signify her newfound commitment to its teachings.
In a show of her complete and utter commitment to the cause, another demand by Madonna had her hotel room be kept in total darkness while on tour.
According to the outlet's source, her demands seemed even more outrageous than her performances.
They further revealed even the slightest glimmer of light in her hotel room is unacceptable, requiring attendants to use blackout paper to cover the windows while still allowing them to be opened. According to the source, this must be done for her peace of mind.
A person close to Madonna revealed that her standards for performance are like no other.
In June, there was cause for concern when it became known that the iconic singer had been admitted to the ICU. Though Gary Oseary, her long-term manager, revealed it was due to a bacterial infection.
