It has been a confusing whirlwind of information released earlier this week after reports that Scooter Braun's talents made an exodus, leaving the controversial manager's SB Projects dry.
The headlines started when it was reported that Justin Bieber reportedly left Scooter Braun's management after years of working with him.
Justin Bieber, Scooter Braun: The Truth About Their Relationship
Puck News initially reported last week that Justin Bieber had made a cleaning out of his team and revealed that he has left Scooter Braun's management. Several sources close to the scene refuted the said allegations.
Since then, news about Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and even Idina Menzel, leaving Braun's SB Projects, also came about.
However, a Variety source claimed that Grande and Bieber haven't left the building yet. It was only that Braun was taking on a much bigger role as the CEO of his newly acquired HYBE America.
Reportedly, a shift in day-to-day management has occurred which leaves Grande and Bieber's daily affairs put into consideration; but nonetheless, they are still in contract, as opposed to Lovato and Menzel, who were already confirmed to be out of Braun's hair.
Despite still being in Scooter Braun's management, Justin Bieber's relationship with him seemed to have changed, at least that is what an insider claims recently.
Justin Bieber Not Talking To Scooter Braun
A People Magazine insider reveals that Justin Bieber hasn't been talking to Scooter Braun recently.
"Justin's been working on his new record for the last six months. Scooter and SB Projects have not set up one session or done one thing for this [new] record," they alleged. "The relationship with Scooter has run its course."
So far, representatives of the two opposing parties have not commented on the said issue. As of this writing, the details and the truth about Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande seem to still be very fuzzy.
As for Grande, another People Magazine source claimed that she parted ways with Scooter Braun after 10 years of working with him.
"They are friendly but she's outgrown him and is excited to go in a different direction," the insider dished out. "Yes there are negotiations happening because of contracts. But this is her choice. It's time for something new."
At the end of the week, Grande is releasing the 10th-anniversary re-issue of "Yours, Truly," her debut album that she worked with Braun at the start of her solo music career in 2013.
