It has been claimed that Britney Spears sustained a severe head injury amid a dramatic argument with her then-husband, Sam Asghari, before their divorce.
Harvey Levin, the founder of TMZ, made this claim in his show, "Britney Spears: Divorce & Despair," broadcast on Fox.
According to him, during a fight in London between the pop star and her partner, Britney became injured and had to be treated medically.
The former couple reportedly had a heated argument in the hotel room, which went south quickly.
"She and Sam were going at it in a hotel room, and it got so bad [that] she tripped and hit the coffee table, cracking her head open. She needed stitches."
Charles Latibeaudiere, the show's executive producer, revealed in the "TMZ Investigates" episode that Britney Spears' supposed temper caused her marriage to Sam Asghari to come to an abrupt end.
He was also reportedly convinced the "Toxic" singer had been unfaithful to an employee at her residence.
It is rumored that the 41-year-old pop icon had gone so far as to violently assault her fitness trainer then-husband while he asleep, causing him to have a black eye.
Following her divorce from Sam Asghari, Britney Spears has been seen in the company of a former staff member with an alleged criminal background.
Sources say this individual is Paul Richard Soliz, and the two have been getting increasingly close.

According to Page Six, the "Baby One More Time" singer procured the services of this 37-year-old man roughly a year ago.
Concern has arisen after the news that she has grown close to her former employee.
Paul's hiring is said to be being questioned due to a lack of background checks, which would have uncovered his troubled criminal record.
Searching his name, Page Six revealed that multiple misdemeanors and even a felony have been charged against him.
After being accused of child endangerment, a plea negotiation saw the court dismiss that charge. However, April 2014 saw Paul convicted on one count of disturbing the peace based on court records.
Court records obtained by the outlet reveal that he was convicted of driving without a license in 2016.
This conviction came as part of a plea negotiation, which resulted in the other charge of driving with a suspended license being dismissed.
Paul's brushes with law enforcement extend back to December 2022, when he was found guilty of felony firearm possession.
Sources indicate that this occurred while Britney Spears employed Paul at that time. The outlet also reported that despite being dismissed, Paul is still in the company of the iconic songstress.
