The three dancers formerly employed by Lizzo have declared her decision to launch a counter-suit as an "insidious attempt at intimidation."
This comes after the trio filed legal claims alleging sexual harassment against the "About Damn Time" singer.
Three female former backup dancers, who are all under 30, had accused the 35-year-old Grammy-winning pop star of sexual and racial harassment and created a hostile work environment when they were touring Europe in February and March.
This week, Lizzo's attorney, Martin Singer, had declared his client intends to take legal action against those who levied false and damaging accusations against her.
She had been accused of coercing employees at a club in Amsterdam into touching nude performers and weight-shaming them.
Despite these allegations, the "Juice" diva has adamantly denied any wrongdoing on her part.
Meanwhile, Ron Zambrano, the lawyer representing the three accusers, stated on Page Six, "Lizzo's threat to countersue for malicious prosecution is an insidious attempt at intimidation and delivers a chilling effect to all harassment victims in the workplace."
"The scare tactics, bullying, and victim shaming coming from Lizzo's team is exactly the behavior employees face in the entertainment industry who feel they have no choice but to 'suck it up' for access and success."

According to Ron, Lizzo's legal team is working to impede anyone from divulging what they know about her, using threats of more harm to those who have mustered up enough courage to speak out.
He added how it's a ploy to keep Lizzo's controversial actions private and away from any public attention that could tarnish her image of being an advocate for female empowerment and body acceptance.
He also said how Lizzo wants to maintain her credibility while avoiding accountability.
"Lizzo certainly isn't empowering women by her threats; rather, she is disenfranchising them, but this lawsuit isn't just about her. This sort of behavior is pervasive in the entertainment industry."
Despite what some may think, the legal expert quickly pointed out that it is still illegal.
He went on to say that employment law provides a platform for those who have been wronged to speak up confidently and without fear; however, Lizzo and her team appear to be entirely shrugging off their responsibility in this situation.
"Lizzo is emblematic of the issue with harassers and abusers who try to silence their accusers. To all victims, we assure you that you no longer have to remain silent. Fight back."
Neama Rahmani, representing the three plaintiffs, said: "There is no basis in law for singer's counter-suit on behalf of Lizzo, and he would be forced to testify in court and answer truthfully about his client's falsehoods."
"We have mountains of evidence and more people coming forward each day independently supporting the plaintiffs' allegations."
"[Lizzo's lawyer] may be referring to the lawsuit against Lizzo as a 'sham', but the only thing that is a sham here is the singer's media strategy of shaming the victims. We'll take the moral high ground and fight for what's right."
