Andy Taylor Opens Up About Why He Left Duran Duran
According to NME, the musician spoke with Classic Pop Magazine where he revealed that Duran Duran's project, "Red Carpet Massacre," released in 2007, bugged him because they brought in a bigger circle of people when it comes to producing.
Throughout the creation of the record, Timbaland was present and was credited to be a producer for the album.
Because of that, he noted that the reason why he left the group was because of "creative" differences and none of it was personal.

"It felt like someone shutting an elevator door on me that I couldn't get past. There has to be a balance, and I couldn't feel it," he said of his feelings at the time.
