During an Adele concert in Las Vegas, a fan was chastised for standing up and singing along, disrupting the other concert-goers, which caused them to urge him to sit down before security eventually intervened.

The incident was spotted by Adele, who stopped mid-performance, to address the situation. She defended him and told his "bullies" to back off.

"What is going on there with that young fan who's been bothered so much since I came on? For standing up?" Adele said after she told her band to stop playing "Water Under the Bridge."

"Why are you all bothering him? Can you leave him alone, please? They won't bother you anymore, darling. You enjoy the show. Leave him alone."

Adele's Fan Profusely Thanks Her

The fan, named Juan Pablo, took to social media to address the incident and thank Adele one more time.

"I'm also sorry that I didn't respond back to anything you asked me. You started talking to me and I literally stopped breathing," he said in a video he uploaded to TikTok.

He also captioned the post, "Thank you so much for this breathtaking night and for standing up for me, so that I could live your concert as it should be."

Adele Fan Addresses Concert Etiquette Concerns

According to TMZ, Pablo does not have any beef with the security who told him to sit and calm down during the concert. In fact, he took a selfie with the man.

On the other hand, he also addressed the other concert-goers who sat behind him: "I only had one opportunity to see her and I took it. I'm not really sorry. They could've stood up too."

Other people lauded Pablo for standing his ground by enjoying the concert standing up and singing along to Adele.

"He's so right! Like y'all are seeing THE Adele! Like liven up, let loose, and sing!"

"Dude was there to have fun and he didn't want that opportunity pass him bye so there's nothing to be sorry for," another wrote.

On the other hand, other people complained about concert etiquette. "Why Adele defended [sic] this man? He disturbed all her fans," one wrote.

"I won't be sorry either but he has to keep his excitement in check better next time."

"Lol what a disgraceful dude."
