After being forced to postpone his tour last week due to an illness, Liam Payne turned 30 on Tuesday.
The musician and his 24-year-old girlfriend Kate Cassidy took a clay pigeon shooting class at the opulent Warwickshire members' club Honesberie. Liam was surrounded by friends and family that evening, and the party was capped off with fireworks.
Despite it being a significant birthday, Liam hadn't actually planned anything before being ill, a source informed The Sun.
He is devastated that he won't be going on the road in a few days as anticipated and is still recovering quite well.
But his family and friends worked hard to make the day as memorable as possible.
Since he has been sober for more than six months, Liam was never going to be out till the wee hours of the morning, to be honest.
In honor of her boyfriend's birthday on Tuesday, the One Direction star's influencer girlfriend Kate Cassidy, 24, posted a collection of pictures from their courtship. Happy birthday, love! Kate tweeted images of the couple taking vacation selfies and enjoying a trip to Disney World with the caption "30 never looked so good."
When Liam and Kate were seen leaving Annabel's 60th anniversary party hand in hand in June, it was clear they were back together. Prior to this, rumors of a temporary breakup after 10 months of dating surfaced. Kate allegedly moved out and flew back to her home in the United States while the couple was still residing together at his London house.

The couple, though, got back on track and was spotted last month taking a romantic vacation aboard an opulent yacht in France. After being admitted to the hospital with a kidney illness, Liam revealed last week that his scheduled tour of South America had been postponed.
The One Direction musician, 29, informed his Instagram fans of the development on Friday after receiving a "rest and recuperate" directive from medical professionals.
Liam spoke public about his mental health earlier this year, revealing that after spending time at a wellness center in the US last year after hitting "rock bottom," physicians there had diagnosed him with "a couple of conditions."
The musician posted a sincere Instagram on his Story explaining that he was having a difficult day and that his loved ones could see he was still having trouble.
Liam talked about his'manic' periods and how hard it was for him to maintain sobriety during his'super low' periods. He acknowledged in the footage that he repeatedly recorded the video before deleting it until concluding that this was the ideal moment to tell his experience to his viewers.
