Following remarks criticizing her un-shaved armpits on the touching tribute she uploaded for her late father Michael Jackson's 65th birthday, Paris Jackson tweeted a scathing message for trolls on social media on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old singer, who is wearing a loose sleeveless dress and a high topknot that reveals her underarm hair, talks about her father's memories in the clip she posted on Instagram on Tuesday.
(Photo : Instagram/ParisJackson) The 25-year-old celebrity clarified the situation when commenters said things like "Shaving armpits is a kind of cleanliness" and "You made this whole video just to show you don't shave your armpits."
"i wasn't tying my hair up to show off my armpit hair," Paris posted on Twitter, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. "i've not shaved it for years and forget it's there all the time. get over yourselves."
The only child of the late King of Pop joked at the end of her post, "i was pulling my hair up to show my glass cutting jawline."
On the post, she received a lot of encouragement, with one follower stating, "You're fine just the way you are! Continue doing you! Daddy will be pleased. Another person commented, "love you paris, armpit hair and jawline included lmao."
Paris discussed her famous father in her video and how, "back when he was alive, he used to hate anybody acknowledging his birthday, wishing him a happy birthday, or celebrating it."
According to her, her father even went so far as to refuse to tell his children when it was his birthday because he didn't want them to have a celebration. The model, who flaunted her nipple piercing during Paris Fashion Week last fall, said that she was sick of people on social media criticizing her for celebrating her dad's birthday in a certain way.
She said that when she doesn't post about her dad's birthday, "people lose their f-king minds," because "it apparently means that you don't love them, you don't care about them,"
"They tell me to kill myself," she alleged.
Paris Jackson, the sole child of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, was destined to be a musician, and her most recent hit is guaranteed to enhance that destiny.
The aspiring singer-songwriter has returned as of August 18, releasing "hit your knees" on all music streaming services. It is so much more than just a catchy song with a deeper significance than the lyrics alone.
Paris took girl power to a whole new level with "hit your knees," a hot new tune that was fully written, performed, produced, mixed, and mastered by women.
