While walking the SAG-AFTRA strike picket line on Thursday, Britney Spears' ex-husband Sam Asghari declined to discuss their divorce from the pop singer, wanting instead to focus on the fact that the strike had put him in a similar situation to Leonardo DiCaprio.

In Burbank, California, the 29-year-old actor stopped to chat with a photographer while participating in a protest. He said the labor issue that has rocked Hollywood was more important than queries about his breakup with the Grammy-winning musician.

In a TMZ video, the actor-model from Tehran, Iran remarked claimed that he is not there to talk about his personal life. Instead, he is there to spread the word about my brothers and sisters who are fighting hard for his future.

Asghari, who has been on programs like PBC, Black Monday, and Hacks, declared that he was committed to putting a stop to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, which have almost paralyzed the industry.

He remarked that he hopes this gets resolved very quickly, so he can all get back to what he was enjoying doing the most, which is creating art and motivating people.

The next actor used the Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio as an example to illustrate the impact of the strikes on everyone in the industry.

Asked about not having work, Asghari responded, "That's the point of this strike - I have the same amount of jobs as Leonardo DiCaprio does."

Due to the ongoing labor strike, the industry has been put on hold, and projects for Asghari and DiCaprio are both still unfinished. Asghari's most notable performance is in the Paul Feig-directed comedy Grand Death Lotto, which also stars John Cena, Simu Liu, Awkwafina, and Seann William Scott. According to iMDb, DiCaprio is now scheduled for four playing roles in films including The Crowded Room, Jim Jones, The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder and Roosevelt.

The WGA strike is still in effect, and Asghari expressed his concern about it, noting that "writers are the heart and soul of every project we do." After filed for divorce from the Toxic singer, 41, earlier this month, Asghari is now concentrating on her career, a source informed US Weekly on Thursday. Sam is still working on building his fitness company, but the outlet was informed by an insider that his main priority is advancing his acting career. He is most passionate about and happiest doing that, thus.

Although he enjoyed many pleasant memories with Britney, Asghari "is focused on moving forward with his life and he's excited to see what's next," the insider claimed.
