Lil Wayne had an epic microphone issue when he opened for Beyoncé's recent show.

DJ Khaled introduced Lil Wayne to the concertgoers of Beyoncé's show at the SoFi stadium in Los Angeles before the main performer popped out of the stage. However, things did not go as smoothly as possible when the rapper had an embarrassing mishap because of his microphone.

Lil Wayne in Awkward Position at Beyoncé's LA Show

During Lil Wayne's set, his microphone started to cut in and out, leaving the concertgoers confused as they listened to music without the rapper's lead vocals.

RadarOnline reported that someone said "Hold Up!" when the music stopped, with Lil Wayne telling the staff that the sound was bad. The event reportedly delayed the show as he tried testing the microphone until he gave up and thanked the fans anyway.

The newest stage blunder came days after the 40-year-old "Sucker for Pain" rapper left 50 Cent's show in Los Angeles before going to the stage after he was pushed out of the way by a backstage tour staff. Lil Wayne was preparing himself before his performance with 50 Cent, but the event apparently got on his nerves.

One backstage source told Page Six that Lil Wayne stormed out after the incident and left the performance on 50 Cent alone.

Lil Wayne Drops New Single

After his recent blunders, Lil Wayne dropped a new single to follow the release of "Kant Nobody."

Titled, "Kat Food," the track samples the whistling sound part from Miss Elliott's "Work It." It notably references Purina cat food, with the performer rapping, "Money need a home and my pockets look like a homeless shelter."

Reports said it would be part of his next album, "Tha Carter VI," which has been long speculated that would be released on his birthday on September 27.

Previously, he told Rolling Stone he was "constantly making new music."

"We have a studio bus behind me. In every hotel we get to, before I get to the room, my two engineers set up a studio in the bedroom," he said. "And I told you, we already have a studio booked in that city if that city has a nice studio, meaning I don't stop working."

He is expected to perform the track this month at the 2023 MTV VMA Awards where he was nominated for Best Hip-Hop for his "Kant Nobody" track with DMX and Swizz Beatz.

The rapper has already had a busy year so far, having performed at the Grammys, the ESPYs and the Yankee Stadium concert while also touring across the continent.
