Despite being pretty ill, the 21-year-old singer did not let her Irish fans down on Friday night. Billie Eilish certainly deserves all the love she's getting, although she should not really be sacrificing her health like that.
The grounded performer, who astounded her followers with her flying economy, gave her all to the fifty thousand admirers that attended Electric Picnic 2023 in Laois County.
The Grammy winner singer shoot a message to her fans on social media, writing, "Ireland. I am really, really sick and honestly, really suffering." Showing how great her work ethic is, she added, "You know me and you know that I wouldn't cancel a show if I was like literally dying... (this does feel pretty close tho lol) but the show must go on."
The artist of What Was I Made For wrote, "I will see you tonight."
"Please keep in mind that I am trying my best and I'm gonna need your help tonight. Go hard for me ;)"
Speaking into the microphone, the ailing hitmaker sounds a little choked up in a video that Leinster Express released from the top of the program. "Give me all that you've got, okay, because I can only do so much tonight," the lovely vocalist pleaded with the audience.
She then gave them the command to bounce with her in order to increase the energy.
She said to them, "If I can do it, you can f**cking do it." Billie bounced across the stage while singing You Should See Me in a Crown to start the show. During the performance, the Billboard Music Award winner wore a loose-fitting white Nike top over black basketball shorts, black socks, and white sneakers. She covered her black hair with a cap that said "Danger."
In a fan video uploaded to Instagram, the performer can be heard singing Happier Than Ever with the audience. The musician had to halt to clear his throat. She urged the audience to turn to face their neighbor and offer them a hug in an effort to foster a stronger sense of community, according to Independent.say.
The source stated 'I love you so much, thanks for having me, but I'll see you again,' Billie told the audience as she concluded her 70-minute performance. There should be time for the Bad Guy artist to rest. According to her website, her next show isn't until September 16 in Atlanta.
Meanwhile, the 20th artist to win a BRIT Billion Award from the BPI is Billie Eilish.
According to the Official Charts Company's calculations, individuals who have exceeded one billion career U.K. streams are eligible to receive the honor.
Six additional Eilish songs have surpassed 100 million U.K. streams, including the Grammy-winning hit song "Bad Guy," which has had over 300 million streams in the country.
On the Official U.K. Singles Chart this week, Eilish's song "What Was I Made For?" from "Barbie: The Album" becomes her second No. 1 hit.
"No Time to Die," a song from the film of the same name, became her first U.K. No. 1. The Official U.K. Albums Chart has seen two No. 1 albums from Eilish as well.
With her debut single, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?," she debuted at the top of the chart at the age of 17, becoming the youngest female artist to do so.
