Blink-182 ended up postponing its tour to allow Travis Barker to return home and tend to an urgent family matter.
Barker has not directly revealed what led him to leave his band's now-postponed tour, but he hinted at his online posts that the urgent family matter was medical-related. It led fans to worry that something might have happened to Kourtney Kardashian, who is currently pregnant with her first child with the drummer.
After the confirmation that Barker visited a hospital with Kardashian, more details emerged revealing what the couple went through.
Kourtney Kardashian Speaks Up for the First Time Since Hospitalization
On Instagram, Kardashian revealed that she underwent an urgent fetal surgery earlier this month to save their baby boy's life.
The Poosh founder shared a black-and-white photo of her husband holding her hand, writing in the caption that she did not expect the health emergency since she had three easy pregnancies in the past.
"I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby's life," she wrote. "I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this."
The 44-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum revealed she was "crippled with fear" when she was rushed to receive the emergency medical procedure. She concluded her message by expressing how grateful she is to God for allowing her to be discharged from the hospital with her unborn baby boy in her tummy.
Barker also tweeted on X Wednesday to hint at the successful "life-threatening emergency surgery" and thanked everyone for their support.
The drummer has two kids - Alabama and Landon - and stepdaughter Atiana with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Meanwhile, Kourtney shares Penelope, Reign and Mason with Scott Disick.
