Fans from New Orleans have been waiting for Drake to perform in their city after he initially rescheduled the show. Today, it has been announced that the same show is already postponed; what happened?
According to 113.0 The Tiger, fans received a notification from Ticketmaster saying that the "It's All A Blur" tour in New Orleans, Lousiana, will not be happening anymore.
It was scheduled for September 20, but the show will not move forward due to the magnitude of the production of the rapper's show. It was reported that the full experience of the concert is logistically impossible to bring to Louisiana.
Now, Live Nation and Drake's management are doing their best to find an appropriate date for the city to still enjoy the show at a later date.
Drake's New Orleans Show to Be Rescheduled in November?
The notification from the ticket-selling platform noted that fans are encouraged to "hold on to their tickets until a new date is announced," but there were online users who were skeptical that the show would still move forward in the future as it was the second time it had been canceled.
According to the outlet, the initial schedule for New Orleans was on June 16, the first show of "It's All A Blur" ever, but it was pushed back two weeks later.
New Orleans is not the recent show that had been postponed as there were also other cities affected by this problem.
There are rumors circulating that the Louisiana concert will be scheduled for November 24, but Drake has not confirmed whether this information is true or not.
Fans Disappointed Over Postponement
After news of the postponement made rounds online, fans immediately took to social media to express their disappointment over the matter.
"drake postponed the f****** new orleans concert, NOBODY TALK TO ME," one wrote.
"idk what Drake has planned for New Orleans now, but hopefully Wayne is a part of it," another one wrote.
"Bought tickets for the New Orleans show and this is the second time it's been postponed. I need Drake to run me my fade-just not a refund because I'm still tryna go," one wrote.
"What does drake have against New Orleans. Was supposed to be the first show of the tour now there is literally no telling when it'll be," another one wrote.
