Until fans can get a concrete idea of what exactly drove Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner apart from the parties themselves, more and more allegations are likelier to emerge.
One of the insiders reportedly said that apart from Sophie Turner feeling trapped by her marriage and her kids, with TMZ adding fuel to the fire by saying Joe Jonas caught her doing something she should not be doing in his ring cam, the "Game of Thrones" actress reportedly felt pressured by her sister-in-law.
The insider claimed that Sophie began to doubt the longevity of the marriage as a result of feeling more and more pressured to live up to the dazzling Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, 41, who is wed to Joe's younger brother Nick, 30.
The buddy disclosed that Sophie has been under a lot of stress because her brother's wife is much older and more mature than Priyanka, and the family compares Sophie to Priyanka
Nick Jonas is more mature than Joe despite being younger.
Regarding their work and personal lives, he and Priyanka agree.
"Sophie feels that she's only 27 and hasn't even really lived because she's spent all her good, young years working," but Joe and his family want him to be in a relationship like this.
"Although it wasn't a big deal at first, Sophie and Joe's age difference is now a serious concern," the so-called friend said.
Their goals are radically dissimilar. In a 2019 interview with The Graham Norton Show, the actress said she felt she was left out of British university life since she chose to join Game of Thrones.
One can only wonder what would happen now though. They have two very young kids, after all.
Joe claimed in court documents acquired by DailyMail.com that his marriage to Sophie is "irretrievably broken."
The filings also outline the former couple's plans to divide custody of their one-year-old daughter, who has not been given name, and their three-year-old daughter, Willa. Documentation identifies Willa just by her initials, W.J., and suggests the identity of their other daughter by designating her as D.J.
"It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility," Jonas's attorney writes in the marriage dissolution petition.
We shall see if this will be granted.
