If there's anything that many people want, its a Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B rap duet.

Sweeping the floor and the charts with "WAP," the duo is back again with their newest collaboration - "Bongos" - which will be released at midnight.

Cardi B Says 'Bongos' Is Not Like 'WAP'

When Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B released the cover art for their upcoming new collaboration, "Bongos," many of their loyal fans thought that it would be like their previous collaboration, "WAP."

Speaking to DJ Whoo Kid on Whoo's House podcast recently, Cardi B admitted something about the track. (via Billboard)

"I wonder how people are gonna react to this vibe because they're really like expecting 'WAP,' like, 'oh, here they go again talking this and that,'" she told Whoo Kid about the song. "We are talking a little, you know, about some p-y, but not like 'WAP' type of stuff,"

More so, Cardi B shared that the "Bongos" video, which also drops at midnight, would be different as it is "beautiful."

She even noted that the song would likely "throw people off... because the [single] cover [image] gives off like a 'WAP' vibe, but it's not."

Earlier this week, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion released the cover art for "Bongos" which many thought was a promotional poster for RuPaul's Drag Race.

"It's a different theme and the video is like a whole complete different type of theme," the rapper furthered before talking about Megan Thee Stallion. "We put in our sweat and everything. It's like on some 'b-h, you jump, I jump... if you wit it, I I wit it. We're gonna do it.' We worked so hard on the music video. You're gonna see... that's thought put into that."

Very recently, a teaser of the same theme like the cover art was posted online. Watch the video below.

Cardi B New Album Coming Soon?

Since releasing the Grammy-winning album "Invasion of Privacy" in 2017, Cardi B has yet to release her sophomore album.

Speaking to Vogue Mexico, Cardi B said that the album is coming out "very soon."

"I'm not going to release any more collaborations," Cardi B said last August 2023. She's releasing "Bongos" later tonight.

"I'm going to put out my next solo single. Right now, I'm working on the cover art and ideas for the next record because it's definitely coming up," she revealed. "Everyone always tells me I should put the record out now. They did when I released 'WAP' [with Megan Thee Stallion] and when I released 'Up,' but I always let them know I'm not going to wait long after all these singles. So stay tuned because it's coming out very soon."
