Zach Bryan was arrested in Oklahoma; he was charged with obstruction of an investigation.
According to reports, the country music rising star was brought to Craig County Jail following his arrest on Thursday, Sept. 7, but was shortly released.
Bryan took to social media to address the arrest, "Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
"Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said. I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize."
The singer also explained that this was the reason behind the mug shot of himself "floating around" the internet.
There are no reports on exactly what Bryan told law enforcement which led to his arrest as well as the obstruction of an investigation charge as of this writing.

When the reports came about, fans shared their support for the country music star, and even joked about the entire incident.
"Can we get mugshot merch? Still love you though," a fan commented under his post on X (formerly known as Twitter).

On the other hand, some netizens expressed their confusion and annoyance with the recent news, as many of them claim that they do not know Bryan, and questioned how he managed to have a No. 1 hit song.
"I'm convinced they are paying for No. 1 because who the f**k is this?"
"Another random country singer who no ones ever heard of before just releasing an album and it immediately going No. 1 like do we not see anything wrong with this."
"Y'all just making up white people at this point," another wrote.

Zach Bryan Rising Country Music Star
For netizens who are not aware of Bryan's existence and his music: he is a country music singer who released a chart-topping song called "I Remember Everything," featuring Kacey Musgraves.
It is a single from Bryan's fourth self-titled studio album, which also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He will be hitting the road with his "The Quittin Time" tour in 2024, reports say.
