Prince Jackson revealed what his father - the iconic Michael Jackson - was "paranoid," yet undervalued as a businessman.

According to him, the King of Pop's biggest fears was for his safety and for "pissing off" the wrong people.

These worries ultimately took their toll as he died in 2009 due to an overdose.

Michael Jackson's Worst Fears

During a conversation on Mike Tyson's "Hotbox" podcast, Prince mentioned that Michael Jackson felt threatened by executives from the music industry.

The 26-year-old spoke of how his dad was "paranoid" and often came home distressed over the security of himself, his career, and assets as he believed he had offended critical figures.

Prince said, "He would come home worried about his safety, about his career, about his assets because he felt that he was pissing off the wrong people."

Despite the insecurities surrounding his personal life, Prince spoke highly of his father's conviction that he was "the greatest of all time."

Seeming to understand why the "Billie Jean" hitmaker may have been "desensitized" by fame, Prince stated: "Fans have always surrounded me, so it stands to reason."

"It wasn't until after he died and I became more ingratiated into normal society that I realized it wasn't normal."

"He did that from when he was like six years old. I think you become used to it. It's normal."

Prince is the son of iconic musical luminary Michael Jackson and his second spouse, Debbie Rowe.

The couple were wed for three years, from 1996 to 1999, and Debbie played almost no role in raising her children. It was an odd circumstance, given their birth, with her deciding to give them away as a present to their father.

Prince Jackson's Ultimate Regret

Prince also said that though 1997 was the year of his birth, the biggest "regret" is that, unfortunately, never saw Michael Jackson's shows in person.

However, what a blessing it was to be able to witness his performance with The Jackson Five Reunion at Madison Square Garden shortly before 9/11.

"It was electric to be in the presence of so many people. Though I only glimpsed a little, it was almost instantly the multitude swamped us," Prince said.

"I had the privilege of watching him perform on this one occasion, and while I don't have any recollection of what happened after he stepped off stage, I do remember him dancing continuously throughout his set."
