PnB Rock's girlfriend spoke up about the massive loss a year after the rapper's death.

The hip-hop industry lost another member when PnB Rock - born Rakim Hasheem Allen - died on September 12, 2022, following a robbery and fatal shooting while dining with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang.

Over a year after the tragic event, Sibounheuang spoke up about her struggles with depression and shared the trauma when she saw the 30-year-old die in front of her.

In a new Instagram post, Sibounheuang uploaded a carousel of photos of them together and a lengthy message to mark the first year of PnB Rock's death.

She took the courage to finally share her heartbreak and bravely looked back at the devastating moment in her life.

"I argued with God about openly reliving this day and i absolutely did not want to, so this is an act of obedience," she said. "This same day last year, you could look into my eyes and and tell my soul was not in my body."

Sibounheuang previously wrote how PnB Rock saved her life and that he is the reason she is still here, detailing how the rapper threw her under their table to save her from the suspects.

PnB Rock's Girlfriend Blamed Over Rapper's Death

Rumors surrounded PnB Rock's death, with some people blaming Sibounheuang and accusing her of plotting his death by sharing a photo of their outing on her Instagram Stories alongside a geo-tagged location.

PnB Rock sustained multiple gunshot wounds but was still transferred to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Los Angeles Police Chief Department said they began a probe to identify whether that post led the suspect to the victim. LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman added that an armed man approached them and demanded items from the rapper before firing the gun at him.

Fans eventually compared the rapper's demise to what happened to Pop Smoke, who died in 2020 in Los Angeles during a robbery after he shared a video online that also exposed his location.

His death followed the heartbreaking passing of other rappers who suffered similar incidents, including Mo3, King Von, Young Dolph and Drakeo The Ruler.
