NSYNC is back, and this is not a drill! 90s kids are screaming at the top of their lungs as NSYNC officially reunites after more than two decades.
"Trolls Band Together" features Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake as the lead voice actors of the successful animated film franchise.
NSYNC Reunion
NSYNC shocked everyone when they reunited at the recently concluded 2023 MTV Video Music Awards last Tuesday, Sep. 12, 2023.
They awarded Taylor Swift the Best Pop Award for "Anti-Hero," the first of her nine awards of the night.
Swift, like everyone at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, was thrilled to be seeing the complete gang together again. Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass reunited in their best selves as they seemed to tease a comeback.
"I had your dolls," she admitted to the group. "What's going to happen now? They're doing something and I need to know what it is. You're pop personified."
As always, Taylor Swift is right, NSYNC is, in fact, up to something.
NSYNC New Song 2023
Earlier today, NSYNC confirmed that they reunited for a song to be released on Justin Timberlake's "Trolls Band Together."
The said song will mark NSYNC's first music since 2002, which makes this new NSYNC song their first in 21 years. The MTV VMAs reunion is also an iconic one considering the last time they appeared as a group was also at the VMA stage in 2013 when Justin Timberlake performed for his Michael Jackson Video Vanguard performance at the time.
Billboard said that the new NSYNC song would follow the sound of the first two movie's lead singles - "Can't Stop the Feeling!" and "The Other Side." Earlier this month, news of NSYNC's reunion emerged when posters of the film began circulating in New York containing the letter N.
The new NSYNC song, titled "Better Place" will be available on Sep. 29, 2023.
Sadly, NSYNC won't be voice acting in the movie. Timberlake's character will explore reuniting with his brothers called BroZone. It will feature Troye Sivan, Daveed Diggs, Eric Andre, and Kid Cudi.
The film will be released in November 2023, and will also star Amy Schumer, Andrew Rannells, RuPaul, Zooey Deschanel, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Icona Pop, and even Anderson. Paak, among many others.
