Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's dating rumors sparked new buzz when Jason Kelce joked that the talks were "true."

After previously dodging the questions about Travis and Taylor's rumored relationship, Jason jokingly confirmed the duo's romance amid the claims that they have been spending time together. However, his statement has since been misapprehended, causing some to assume that the pair have been truly dating.

Jason Kelce Jokingly Confirms The Romance

In his interview on the "WIP Morning Show" on Wednesday, September 20, the 35-year-old NFL star quipped that his brother and Taylor are dating.

"It's hard to answer because I don't really know a lot about what's happening with Travis' love life," he said, adding, "But having said that, man, I think they're doing great, and I think it's all 100 percent true and I hope that this thing goes the mile."

He immediately clarified that he was joking and said he does not know what is happening between the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the "Lover" singer, though reports said they have been "quietly hanging out."

His comment came after Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez also asked him about the rumors after the Philadelphia Eagles game with the Minnesota Vikings. At that time, he said he had seen the rumors but could not comment on it.

Despite the clarification, there have been reports suggesting that the dating rumors are indeed 100 percent true.

Travis and Taylor have yet to comment on the buzz.

Travis Kelce Talks About Dating Preferences

While Travis keeps tightlipped on his and Taylor's real score, he recently spoke about his dating preference during an appearance on Kristin Cavallari's "Let's Be Honest" podcast.

According to the athlete, high-maintenance women are a major red flag for him.

"If you're arrogant or you think you're snooty or higher or above people, that's the biggest turnoff for me," the tight end said.

He also revealed that he is looking for someone as "kindhearted and sweet" as his mother, Donna Kelce, who he called an "absolute angel."

Amid the romance rumors, the athlete said it takes him some time before he falls for his love interests - although he did not hint whether or not he has set his eyes on someone already.
