Ozzy Osbourne clarified that he is far from being on his last legs amid his health issues.
News about Ozzy's deteriorating health has been emerging over the past few months after the musician missed his scheduled shows and appearances. He and his family gave an update about his next surgery, which the Black Sabbath rocker confirmed as the last procedure he will go through regardless of the outcome.
Ozzy Osbourne "Not Dying" Ahead of Next Surgery
On Tuesday, September 19, "The Osbournes Podcast" released its latest episode, where Ozzy spoke about his next surgery, which will reportedly be his last.
The upcoming procedure will focus on the damage he sustained following a 2019 fall that misaligned the pins installed on his back after a past motorbike accident.
"Tomorrow, I have my final surgery on my neck," he said. "Which is gonna be the final surgery, because I can't do it anymore. Regardless of the way it ends up after tomorrow, I'm not doing it anymore. I can't."
His son Jack Osbourne checked on him and asked how he was feeling before the operation, with Ozzy compared it to having a haircut again.
The Prince of Darkness also described the issues he has been going through, including feeling like there are bricks tied to his feet when he is walking. He noted that he walked upstairs and downstairs for the first time in a while and realized that his nerves have something to do with the issues.
In addition, Ozzy told his critics to "f--- off" and assured everyone he was far from his deathbed.
Ozzy Osbourne's Health Issues
Ozzy has been speaking about his struggles since relaunching the podcast. In one of the episodes, he revealed he would receive another epidural injection on top of the fourth procedure to ease the pain he had been feeling.
"My lower back is, I'm going for an epidural soon because what's happening, what they've discovered is the neck has been fixed, below the neck there's two vertebrae where the bike hit me and disintegrated, there's nothing left of 'em," he explained in their family's podcast.
The surgery will occur after Osbourne canceled his appearance in the upcoming Power Trip Festival.
