The long wait is over! Jacob Collier will finally release the final installment of his "Djesse" series, titled "Djesse Vol. 4," next year. To celebrate a new era, the musician dropped a new song with one of the most talented artists in the country music scene, Brandi Carlile.
According to U Discover Music, the English multi-instrumentalist began his journey in releasing his "Djesse" series in 2018.
The latter projects even received major recognitions from major award-giving bodies like the Grammy Awards for the third installment.
Today, Collier is ready to drop the final project of his series as he announced to his fans that it would be available for streaming starting on February 29, 2024.
The award-winning artist just released the first song from the record titled "Little Blue" featuring Brandi Carlile to give fans an insight into what the album would sound like.
Jacob Collier Shares More Details About 'Djesse Vol. 4'
In a press release, the singer revealed that he started the installment five years ago and he described it as something that began in "soltitude" and it was an adventure with "a big dream."
"A collaborative quadruple album, and by way of that - to learn music, and life, from the greatest teachers of all - my heroes," he explained.
Collier further noted that he felt like "Djesse Vol. 4" took him over three decades for him as it is going to be a "celebration of human kind."

Based on the way he envisioned the album when it came to visuals and sound, the album is an experiment with over 100,000 voice audience-choir collaborators.
"Creating this album has reminded me that life is full of magic, if only we can remember to look for it in each other," he added.

Jacob Collier's new album features a complex album art, similar to the first three projects. The singer's face could be seen being formed with random items such as flowers, birds, and many more.
An exclusive, signed colored vinyl is also available for pre-order on his official website which is priced at £37.99 or $46.71.
In addition, a regular CD is also available, as well as plain black vinyl albums.
