Apple Music announced the huge news through various clips posted on their social media posts.

First of which was an interaction between a writing Usher on a booth, seemingly penning his next big hit. He was interrupted by a calling Kim Kardashian who finally got the rumors, telling him that he was going to perform at the Super Bowl.

A few more videos of the same format also arrived, with Odell Beckham Jr., Marshawn Lynch, and Deion Sanders delivering the big news to Usher.

Usher follows Rihanna as the second Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show performer since the streaming platform took over the major sponsorship of the Super Bowl last year. The last Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime show was the Hip Hop mega tag-team performance of Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar in 2022.

"Usher is the ultimate artist and showman. Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he's been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul," JAY-Z, the president of Roc Nation, NFL's partner in producing the Super Bowl Halftime Show since 2019 said in a statement. "His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can't wait to see the magic."

According to the "Burn" hitmaker, it is a "love letter once again to the legacy of my career." It will feature the previously released song "Good Good."

Notably, this upcoming year marks a huge feat for Usher too as it will mark the 20th anniversary of his smash album, "Confessions" on March 2024. The album was defined as the best-selling R&B album of the 21st century by a male artist and a prime example of urban music's commercial peak at the time.
