Adele sparked marriage rumors again after her recent Las Vegas residency.
On Saturday, September 23, Adele performed in front of her fans again as part of her hotly anticipated residency. Aside from serenading the concertgoers with her hit songs, she also shocked them when she seemingly hinted at her rumored marriage to Rich Paul.
Is Adele Already Married?
In the exclusive video posted by a news outlet, Adele referred to herself as "wife" when she told her audience about Paul's love for American football and her struggles in understanding the sports' rules.
"I just don't understand the game and it's so annoying because I'm actually quite a clever person," she said. "I'm not the greatest person, I'm not the greatest wife, really, when it comes to football, even though my partner absolutely loves it."
She previously hinted at her marital status when a concertgoer caught her attention after asking her, "Will you marry me?"
The 35-year-old "Set Fire To The Rain" hitmaker responded by telling the fan that she could not marry her because she is straight and her "husband" was there at that time. Adele then jokingly added that she did not want to try since she had been with Paul.
A viral TikTok video of the September 17 interaction also received comments from excited fans who want to know when she got married.
One wrote, "her husband??? omgg Adele Paul???"
"I feel like not many people knew, but she literally spoke about it in an interview once," another added.
Adele and Rich Paul's Romance Explored
The NBA sports agent first confirmed that he had been hanging out with Adele through his profile for The New Yorker. Only a few months later, sources confirmed to People and Us Weekly that the pair started dating a few months before the buzz emerged.
Meanwhile, ESPN's Brian Windhorst referred to the "Easy on Me" crooner as Paul's girlfriend during his appearance on "The Lowe Post."
In September 2021, Adele finally made their relationship Instagram official by sharing their photo taken from a photobooth at Anthony Davis's wedding.
"[Paul] was at the table the whole time, and he let her just do whatever she wanted," another source told Us Weekly. "She was dancing with everybody. They would hug at the table. They're a nice couple."
