The Wanted late member Tom Parker's wife broke her silence a year after the musician's tragic death.

Parker's health issue led The Wanted's band members to reunite and support him amid his health battle starting in 2021. The reunion ended their seven-year hiatus, with Max George, Jay McGuiness, Nathan Skyes and Siva Kaneswaran performing together again at the Stand Up To Cancer event.

The musician died after his brave battle with the dreaded disease, and his wife recently recalled his last moments before his last breath.

Tom Parker's Soul "Was Ready To Leave Him"

Parker is survived by his wife, Kelsey, and their two children, Aurelia and Bodhi, after his death on March 30, 2022, due to glioblastoma.

Looking back at Parker's life, Kelsey spoke to OK! ahead of the release of her memoir, "With And Without You," and revealed why her husband's passing "was magical" and that she always remembers the moment he died.

"It was like his soul was ready to leave him and go somewhere else. It was so special to watch," she said. "It wasn't like he wasn't struggling or anything like that. He looked amazing and he just passed over."

While Kelsey remains deeply devastated and broken over his death, she pushes herself to remain positive. In fact, the couple reportedly never talked about Parker's potential death when he was struggling with the condition because they lived up to their name, "The Positive Parkers."

Kelsey also tried to find a cure or miracle treatment to save her husband, but she found nothing to help them.

The widow told the news outlet that she desperately tried to help her husband, who she called "my absolute world, my everything."

Tom Parker's Death Revisited

Parker died years after he learned about his stage 4 cancer diagnosis in 2020. He underwent treatments, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions and soon managed to shrink the tumor.

"I feel a lot more confident and a lot more in control of my emotions," he told "This Morning." "If I did do this five months ago, I'd be a crying mess to be honest. I'm feeling very positive."

Although his body responded well to the treatment, the brain tumor - which was also the most aggressive type - soon led to his demise.

Before his death, Parker announced he had written a book about finding hope. "Hope: Read the Inspirational Life behind Tom Parker" was posthumously released in July.
