Cher received mixed reactions when she seemingly confirmed her relationship with music producer Alexander "AE" Edwards, but their relationship didn't last as they reportedly broke up back in May.
However, it appears that the two already got back together as they were seen in Los Angeles as well as in Paris this month.
According to an insider who spoke with Page Six, the music producer played his cards very well as he gave his then-ex-girlfriend some time to reflect when she decided to break up with him.
"Alexander is playing the game well. He gave her space when she first called it off," the source said.
The insider added that they thought he would leave the pop star for good but "the fact is, Cher does enjoy spending time with him."
The source further noted that Cher is at the point in her life where she just wants to be happy. In addition, the death of her good friend Tina Turner also made an impact on her decision to get back with her ex as she realized that "life is short."
The recent news comes amid their appearance at Paris Fashion Week and it seemed like love was indeed in the air as they held hands while watching Balmain's fashion show earlier this week.
Cher, Alexander 'AE' Edwards Relationship
According to UsWeekly Magazine, the couple's relationship began in November 2022 as rumors swirled around regarding their romance after they were spotted holding hands together in Los Angeles.
Later on, the legendary musician revealed that she already introduced her lover to her family at the time.
They seemingly confirmed the rumors when they constantly attended major events together while holding hands and even occasionally sharing a kiss in front of the cameras.
In May 2023, it was confirmed that the two were never engaged despite the speculations, but at the time, it was noted that they already split and there was no "bad blood" between them.
