Britney Spears received another welfare check after fans requested the police to do so following her infamous knives dance video on Instagram.
Spears worried fans again when she uploaded a video of herself dancing while swinging two large kitchen knives. She clarified in the caption that the blades were fake, but it still prompted fans to double-check and ask the authorities to check on the singer.
Britney Spears Criticizes Police After Wellness Check
Spears called out at the police, who conducted a welfare check after fans became anxious about her condition as seen on the Instagram video in question.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, September 30, the "Toxic" singer criticized the officers who came to her home and insisted on speaking to her to ensure that she was healthy and well. She also lashed out at her mother, Lynne Spears, before reminding everyone to be "responsible" for everything they do.
"I've been bullied in my home for so long now...ITS ENOUGH!" she wrote. "Don't talk about it, come on, let's DO !!! As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I'm in the wrong...nope it's an old game."
She completed her post by sharing a photo of a ballerina balancing on a pair of knives.

Police Perform Wellness Check on Britney Spears
The Los Angeles Times confirmed that the Ventura County authorities responded to Spears' home and performed a wellness check. Someone close to the singer reportedly expressed their concern about her after watching the Instagram video and contacted the Los Angeles Police Department's mental evaluation unit for their action.
Police reportedly arrived on Wednesday, September 27, and a deputy received a call from Spears' attorney, who told them that the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer was not in danger.
A member of the security team present in the area also clarified that the singer was fine.
"We did our due diligence to check her well-being and we did not believe that she was in any harm whatsoever," Ventura County Sheriff's Office's Captain Dean Worthy told Billboard.
It was not the first time police were asked to perform a wellness check on Spears.
Earlier this year, fans called the authorities again after she took down her Instagram page. At that time, Spears expressed her frustration as she felt like she was gaslit and bullied through the wellness check.
