Sam Asghari, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, flaunted his toned body in a recent Instagram photo that showed him getting ready for the Hollywood Beauty Awards. Some fans think this is a thirst trap though, and a sign that he's moving on from Britney Spears lightning fast. Is he ready to date again?

The 29-year-old actor was shown in the video, which he posted to social media early on Monday, standing fully nude while getting his hair washed.

The American-Iranian model, who has been on shows including Black Monday and Hacks, then wrapped a white towel tightly around his toned chest. The video continued to show the celebrity wearing a Balmain suit after brushing his teeth and kissing his dog, Porsha, on the head.

Asghari looked totally at ease as he walked the red carpet, posing for photographers and giving bystanders a warm thumbs up. Just one month ago, a source informed Us Weekly that his ex-wife 'feels manipulated and misled by Sam' after their 13-month marriage ended recently.

This is when he made his post. As the couple proceeds with their official separation, the insider disclosed that Spears is starting to accept her single status. "Britney's top priority when it comes to dating seems to be meeting hot guys and enjoying her freedom," the person stated.

It's challenging to predict Britney's true desires in the future because they shift so frequently. Despite being well-known for having disagreements with many of her relatives regarding her conservatorship, she is now thinking about getting back in touch with some of them after her marriage fell apart.

Meanwhile, Sam Asghari has defended Britney Spears despite their contentious breakup, claiming that the singer was used by Donald Trump Jr., the former president's son, to score political points.

The outspoken critic was tagged by the Iranian-born model on Instagram, who said, "It's not okay to be a bully."

By posting a side-by-side photo comparison of the Grammy winner, the 45-year-old expressed his opinions against the Toxic hitmaker, prompting this response. The pop icon's most recent, slightly grainy photo of herself holding a knife appeared on the right, with the words "America under Biden" displayed above. Meanwhile, an earlier picture of Britney appeared on the left, in which she was seen wearing a skirt and a short T-shirt and credited the image to "America under Trump."

The politician-turned-businessman nodded, captioning the meme, "Yup."
