Travis Kelce is not comfortable with the amount of coverage from the NFL that he and Taylor Swift have been getting since the dating rumors started.

Since the first time Swift watched Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs' first game, the NFL has been accused of using the singer's fame to get more spotlight in the industry. After experts viewed it as a way to attract attention, the tight end shared a similar statement in their latest podcast episode - but the league seemed to be at odds with it.

NFL Drops Defense Over Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's Coverage

Travis recently spoke up in the new episode of "New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment" regarding the NFL's extensive coverage of celebrities amid his rumored romance with Swift.

His brother, Jason Kelce, asked him if he thinks the NFL is "overdoing it."

"I think it's fun when they show who was at the game. I think it brings a little bit more to the atmosphere, brings a little bit more to what you're watching. But at the same time I think-" he said, before Jason continued his sentence to confirm that the league is indeed overdoing it.

After Travis agreed, he explained that the NFL is overdoing it, especially in his situation. Still, he assumed that it was only just trying to have fun with it.

In response to Travis' comment, the NFL issued a statement to People and said that it is changing its bios and profile imagery based on the events in and around games.

"The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce news has been a pop cultural moment we've leaned into in real time, as it's an intersection of sport and entertainment, and we've seen an incredible amount of positivity around the sport," it continued.

The league added that the majority of its content remains focused on the game and its players, as well as its other initiatives like the Toy Story Funday Football alt-cast.

The "August" singer has attended two Kansas City Chiefs' games over the past few weeks, with the latest was during Sunday's game alongside Sophie Turner, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
