Was Sean "Diddy" Combs Involved in the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur?
Decades after Shakur's death, the authorities finally made an arrest and charged Duane Keith "Keefe D" with first-degree murder. Amid the development, 50 Cent trolled Diddy, who has been accused of having an involvement in the case.
50 Cent Comments on Tupac Shakur's Murder Case
On Instagram, 50 Cent posted an old photo of Shakur before his death alongside a caption that trolled Diddy.
"Damn so pac got lined by brother love," he wrote on Monday, October 9. "LOL Time to Lawyer up, s--- might get sticky."
Diddy was long accused of having been involved in the 1996 murder, with retired LAPD detective Greg Kading alleging that the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper hired Crips gang member Keefe D to kill Shakur and his manager Suge Knight for $1 million.
Shakur sustained gunshot wounds after the September 7, 1996, shooting and then died a few days later.
Keefe D also seemingly connected Diddy to the murder case two months before his arrest, saying in an August interview that he would have never been involved in it if he never met Diddy.
"I would've never met the brother. I never would've been involved in this bulls---," he said. "It really crashed two people's empires in one night. Mine's for sure - Suge's too. [Diddy] the only one still balling. He made our s--- go down, man."

Keefe D's statement mirrored what he revealed in 2021, saying that Shakur was hit as soon as Knight ducked his head.
Following the arrest, Keefe D is expected to appear in court again on October 19 at 9 a.m. local time after he told the judge on Wednesday, October 4, that he had retained an attorney to represent him. His lawyer asked the court to resume the trial in two weeks.
It marked the first time he made a court appearance after he was arrested while jogging in his neighborhood.
On the other hand, Shakur's stepbrother Mopreme and their family questioned the arrest that took nearly three decades to fulfill.
"I was taken aback when the Las Vegas police department started reaching out to the family. The timing is curious," Mopreme said. "I do appreciate that it's some form of accountability for the family, but it's not over."
