Olivia Rodrigo surprised fans by announcing an American Express cardholders exclusive one-off show in Los Angeles, where she performed some songs from her new album for the first time.

During the show, the "Vampire" singer also divulged the secrets behind her highly successful sophomore album "GUTS," and how the tracklist came to be.

Apparently, Rodrigo contemplated removing one of the most intimate and pivotal songs, "The Grudge," and swapping it for the vinyl-exclusive track, "Obsessed," for the standard edition of the album, reports say.

"The Grudge" is one of the more controversial songs on "GUTS" due to its lyrics, which fans think are about Rodrigo's relationship with Taylor Swift, which allegedly turned sour after the release of her debut album, "Sour."

Olivia Rodrigo Talks About Making 'GUTS'

Rodrigo was accompanied by her co-writer and producer, Dan Nigro, at The Theater at Ace Hotel on Oct. 9.

The intimate show was not only for the singer to perform some of her songs, but to launch her non-profit, Fund 4 Good, which advocates and supports girls and women.

"We made this entire album together over the course of a year," Rodrigo said. "We haven't played these songs for anyone, really."

Elsewhere during the show, Rodrigo delved into the executive decisions she had to make behind the scenes while making "GUTS."

Like how the song "Lacy" actually started as a poem, or how "Teenage Dream" is a call back to her first album and shares the same key as "Hope Ur Ok."

Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift 'Feud'

The long-standing "feud" between Rodrigo and Swift has been going on for quite some time now.

"The Grudge" is not the only song on the album that fans think might be about the 'Anti-Hero" singer, "Vampire" was suspected to be about Swift as well.

However, Rodrigo herself shut down the rumors when asked about it. "I mean, I never want to say who any of my songs are about.

"I've never done that before in my career and probably won't. I think it's better to not pigeonhole a song as being about this one thing... I was very surprised when people thought that."

The singer then added that she and Swift are on good terms, and she is planning to watch "The Eras" tour in Europe soon.
