2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards Snubs
It was a big shocker of the night when Cardi B failed to take home any award despite tying with 21 Savage for 12 nominations. 21 Savage did win two awards - Best Duo or Group with Drake and Hip-Hop Album of the Year.
Sadly for Cardi B, she has been snubbed, following the same thing last year when she was nominated for six awards but also went home with nada. In 2017, she won five awards, four in 2018, two in 2019, and three in 2021.
Burna Boy and DJ Khaled were also shut out of any nominations despite being nominated for seven categories. Notably, it was a big surprise for everyone when Jay-Z earned one, specifically his verse on DJ Khaled's "God Did."
