Whenever artists go on tour or concerts, it's a must for them to rehearse all the songs that they needed to perform in order to have a perfect performance in front of thousands of people.
However, this was not the case for Lars Ulrich as his bandmate James Hetfield revealed that the drummer never rehearsed for shows until lately.
The musician recently spoke on "The Metallica Report" podcast where the group recalled their iconic performance at the Power Trip festival in California last weekend.
During the conversation, Hetfield said: "An interesting fact - Lars never rehearsed ever until, I don't know, I'd say maybe four or five years ago he started really getting into rehearsing." (via Loudwire)
He further noted that his bandmate now rehearse for over four days for a two-hour performance which is what he was supposed to do in the first place.

Elsewhere in the conversation, the group recalled their Power Trip performance last weekend, saying they were able to get their own rehearsal space at the venue itself in Indio, California.
The band went on to practice their tracks on the venue instead at their usual spot in their headquarters in San Rafael, California.

The reason why the group was able to get a space at the venue was because of James Hetfield's insistence as he wanted to watch the other groups and find a rehearsal place closer to the festival itself.
