Lady Gaga's show in Israel will happen as planned, according to a video the singer posted on Labor Day.
"Shalom," she says in the 10-second clip. "This is Lady Gaga. I'm so excited to perform my new tour in Tel Aviv. I'll see you soon, Israel. Sept. 13."
Several artists have already cancelled their summer and autumn Israel gigs due to the current Gaza conflict.
Lana Del Rey, Neil Young, Cee Lo Green, Megadeth, Backstreet Boys, Kansas, America and Paul Anka are among the artists who have cancelled or postponed in the past couple months.
In August, Forbes noted that Israeli show promoters face several difficulties. For one, the government stopped granted permits for most shows and festivals due to high security risks, and insurance premiums have risen tremendously.
"Promoters will often take out insurance for everything they are responsible for, while performers do the same for themselves and their agreed upon guarantee," the article states. "While it is still possible to get insurance for everything, the prices are now so high, it's impossible to make money."
But Gaga is sticking to the plan as promised. Here is her statement:
The ArtPop singer will also be releasing a duet album with Tony Bennett this month.
"She's a wonderful singer," Bennett told Rolling Stone. "Everybody knows and loves her very much. I think when they hear this album that we're doing, they're going to say, "'We had no idea that she sings that well.'"
Cheek to Cheek drops this coming Sept. 23. On Sept. 13, HSN will run a behind-the-scenes look at the album's creation in a special titled Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek. And on Oct. 24 at 9 p.m., PBS will air Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek Live!—a concert recorded in New York's Rose Theater at Lincoln Center.
Gaga's international tour kicks off in Dubai on Sept. 10, and runs until a Paris gig on Nov. 24.
