According to Celebrity Net Worth, Rudolph Isley's net worth hit the $2 million mark before his death.
Rudolph started pursuing music professionally when he and his brothers reformed The Isley Brothers nearly two years after they disbanded in 1955 following the death of their brother Vernon in a car accident.
They signed with RCA Records in 1959 after releasing their first songs and immediately dropped their first album, "Shout!"
In the years thereafter, Rudolph and his brothers released chart-topping albums that put The Isley Brothers under the spotlight more. The records included "Baby Makin' Music," "Between the Sheets," "Eternal," "Body Kiss," "Live It Up" and "Harvest for the World," to name a few.
Throughout The Isley Brothers' career, they garnered four Top 10 singles in the U.S. Billboard chart and received several accolades.
They were inducted into Hollywood's Rockwalk and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and 1992, respectively.
Prior to his death, Rudolph filed a lawsuit in which he accused his brother Ronald of attempting to have a federal trademark registration on The Isley Brothers' name. He said in the filing that the name was supposed to be owned by the brothers.
Ronald's team tried to dismiss the complaint by filing a motion, but the court denied it.
"[Rudolph] looks forward to the recognition of his rights as a 50% owner in the name 'The Isley Brothers,' the iconic name of the band that he formed in 1954 with his two brothers," Rudolph's lawyer Brian D. Caplan said after the development.
Rudolph, however, died on Wednesday, October 11, at the age of 84. According to Elaine, he died in his sleep while staying in Illinois.
Meanwhile, a source told Daily Mail that he died after suffering an apparent heart attack.
"He died at his home with his devoted wife Elaine by his side. They had been married for 68 years," Elaine told People. "Rudolph was a deeply religious man who loved Jesus."
