Taylor Swift released her highly anticipated concert film, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour," and people cannot help but marvel at her talent not just for music but for directing as well.

Fans and the "Anti-Hero" singer's friends are not the only ones who had great things to say about the newly released concert film, because award-winning director Shawn Levy complimented Swift.

"Taylor has not consulted me about upcoming directing projects, but I think she has the makings of a hell of a director," said Levy, the director of the upcoming movie "Deadpool 4."

Elsewhere in his interview, Levy also described the singer as a "generational voice and creative force" in the industry.

Taylor Swift Directs Her Own Projects

Sure enough, Swift has slowly been making her mark as a director within the industry since she took more control over her career, which included directing her own music videos.

"That list is short. Taylor, the depth of her vision for how she wants a creative piece to be, whether it's a lyric, a melody, a bridge, a concert tour, a video, it's profound," the "Stranger Things" director continued.

Swift has had a hand in directing several of her own music videos, including "The Man," "Bejeweled," "I Bet You Think About Me," the remix version of "Karma" featuring Ice Spice, and the award-winning short film, "All Too Well."

Taylor Swift, The Next Steven Spielberg?

Levy went on to recall an instance wherein award-winning director Steven Spielberg was with him during the filming of the movie "Real Steal."

"I said to him, 'How do you know it's the right shot?'" He said. "His answer was, 'The way you see it, that makes it right. I feel like that's something Taylor Swift has figured out really well because that's about trusting your instinct.

"I think she has the makings of a hell of a director...the depth of her vision for how she wants a creative piece to be...it's profound. It's profoundly vivid, and she has the strength of her convictions."

Swift shocked the entire world with the release of her short film, and even more so when she made her feature directorial debut with Searchlight Pictures.

Searchlight Pictures' presidents, David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield, described her as a "generation artist and storyteller."
