Megan Thee Stallion is ready to enter a new era, but netizens are clocking her post, and claiming that she copied Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.
According to reports, the "Bongos" rapper is gearing up to release new music by teasing fans with several posts on Instagram, namely pictures of Thee Stallion posing nude and pictures of snakes.
She shared three carousels on Instagram, with the cover pictures reading, "Act One" and the O in "one" is an image of a snake; the captions of the posts put together read, "Let's Begin" with a snake emoji.
Megan Thee Stallion Copying Beyoncé, Taylor Swift?
While fans were generally pretty excited to see that Thee Stallion is ready to dip her toes back into the music industry with her solo music, some were too hung up on the teaser pictures.
Thee stallion's recent post was met with mixed reviews from netizens on Instagram and on X (formerly known as Twitter).
They called her out, noting that "Act One" is reminiscent of Beyoncé's "Renaissance" and the snake references and pictures are from Swift's "Reputation" era, which also featured a ton of snakes.
"I definitely support her but idk how I feel about her calling this era or whatever Act One.. it's kinda cringe after Bey just did it," a netizen wrote.
"Saw a swifty in the comments saying 'Taylor inspired this with her eras' do you not see the word ACT.. that's Beyoncé's influence, baby."
"Unless Beyoncé is involved, let's call it something else fren."
"Hope this time it's something different," another added.
Meanwhile, others referenced the rapper's recent legal battles against Tory Lanez.
"She's shedding her old skin like a snake, the theme for this act is gonna be rebirth/transformation with the ouroboros representing the never ending cycle of rebirth."

Megan Thee Stallion Teases New Music
According to reports, the "WAP" rapper has been taking some time away from making music mostly due to her plans to go independent after releasing "Traumazine" in 2022 through 300 Entertainment.
"I have no label right now. We're doing everything funded straight out of Megan Thee Stallion pockets. So, the budget is coming from me," she declared.
"I'm so excited to be doing something for the first time independent since it was just me and my momma. So excited cause it's really just me this go-round until we sign to a new label. But I don't wanna sign to a new label right now because I just wanna do it myself."
