Bad Bunny has once again addressed the phone-throwing controversy from December last year through a song on his new album, "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana."

According to reports, the Puerto Rican rapper gave a shout-out to his real fans, but shaded the "fake" fans as well as his haters in his new song, " Nadie Sabe."

"Tú no ere' mi fan real, por eso te tiré el celular," Bad Bunny raps. The line translates to "You're not my real fan, that's why I threw my cell phone at you."

Bad Bunny Throws a Fan's Phone

Bad Bunny confronted a fan late last year by throwing her phone, the confrontation was filmed and shared on social media which sparked some heated debate among netizens.

Some criticized the rapper for being discourteous towards the fan, while others defended him and his actions, noting that it was the fan who aggravated him.

Bad Bunny eventually took to social media to share his side of the story. "Anyone who comes up to me to say hello, to tell me something, or just to meet me, will always receive my attention and respect.

"Those who come to put a damn phone in my face, I'll consider that what it is: a lack of respect and I'll treat that the same way," he wrote.

Fans Support Bad Bunny

The rapper's fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to laugh about the line from the song, and even laud Bad Bunny for taking a firm stance against the incident.

"Imagine Bad Bunny throwing a phone at your dome and then subbing you on an intro track later with "and what?" energy omg," a fan wrote.

"Wait I'm dying, bad bunny referencing him throwing that fan's phone in one of his songs off the new album, I literally giggled," another added.

"I f**king knew Bad Bunny would bring up him throwing that chicks phone lmaooo."

It seems like following Bad Bunny's response to the criticisms and backlash gained him more fans and was even admired by many for standing up for himself during that situation.

As per Times, artists struggling with the negative side effects of being famous are nothing new, and Bad Bunny is definitely not the first or last artist to address it through a song.

The rapper has also talked about taking a break from making music to focus more on himself. He has since ended his hiatus with the release of his new album.
