Anxiously awaiting, sources close to him confirm that Britney Spears and her soon-to-be-released memoir have left pop superstar Justin Timberlake slightly on edge.

"He's very curious what she'll reveal from their relationship," says one source to Page Six. "It's eating at him".

But contrary to reports, there is nothing malicious in Britney Spears' upcoming book, "The Woman in Me."

A publishing insider has confirmed that the book isn't intended as a "takedown" of anyone - including Justin.

In 2002, three years after beginning their relationship, Justin and Britney experienced a public split.

During an interview with Barbara Walters, the 'NSYNC member mentioned that he and the pop princess had made a pact not to disclose what caused them to part ways.

Reason for Britney Spears-Justin Timberlake Split Remains a Secret

Although they never revealed why they broke up, it was an event that captured much attention from both fans and media outlets.

When asked about speculation that Britney had been unfaithful, Justin's response was enigmatic. "No one is perfect," he began. "I'm not here to judge someone else's actions."

Later, when Diane Sawyer posed the same question during a television interview with Britney, her answer avoided directly addressing the matter.

In the aftermath of the 2021 New York Times documentary "Framing Britney," Justin was met with substantial criticism and accused of perpetrating an antiquated double standard.

Consequently, he released a statement expressing his regret and offering a belated apology to the singer he once had a relationship with.

In her upcoming book, Britney Spears has recently imparted some revealing quotes that explain why the pop icon envies other stars.

Anticipation is already building for the release of "The Woman In Me", which is set to be available on October 24.

Rumors are swirling that in her memoir, Britney will open up about the deeply personal topics of her 13-year conservatorship and relationship with her sister, Jaime Lynn Spears.

The conservatorship, which was placed under the control of Britney's father, Jamie Spears, came to an end last November 2021.

When speaking of her life over the last few years, Britney is sure to give insight into her complex relationship with her sons Jayden and Sean's father and ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The "Toxic" hitmaker is giving fans a glimpse into her thoughts and musings - some of which are pretty concerning.

She recently revealed snippets from her upcoming biography, with out-of-context quotes that expose her envy towards other pop stars.

She said in the book, "I envy the people who know how to make fame work for them."

Reminiscing on her past, the artist reflects on her childhood achievements and the inexperience that characterized her early days in the music industry.

"My demeanor was innocent - and it wasn't an act. I didn't know what I was doing."

At times, Britney, who has had a history of mental health struggles that have been well-publicized, reflects on her experience with the following words: "It felt like I was living on the edge of a cliff."

However, she also offers glimpses of optimism to her fans. For instance, she has made a point of recognizing them personally.

"If you stood up for me when I couldn't stand up for myself, from the bottom of my heart, thank you."

As a conclusion to the video preview, she said: "No one knows what I thought...Until now."
