Halle Bailey Pregnancy Announcement Not True: It Was Actually Leigh Anne's Quote!

Halle Bailey's pregnancy rumors were all over social media. The speculation about whether "The Little Mermaid" star is pregnant or not had fans fishing for more clues and piecing together information that could very well debunk or confirm their suspicion.

Very recently, a quote circulated online showing an interview with Bailey referring to herself as a mother. However, internet sleuths found out that the interview wasn't actually Bailey's, but it was from former Little Mix star, Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Halle Bailey Not Pregnant?

Vulture now confirms that the circulating image online seemingly confirming that Halle Bailey confirmed her pregnancy and motherhood was actually from Leigh-Anne Pinnock's profile with Glamour Magazine UK, not with hers.

"Being a mum, being newly married - there's a positive side of it, but also the negative. I want to show that although things might look perfect from the exterior, that's not always the case," Pinnock said in the magazine's profile of hers.

Halle has a Glamour Magazine UK profile of her own, but it nowhere states or suggests that she is going through motherhood or she has been married to rapper DDG.

The confusion was actually a wrongly placed quote of Pinnock on Bailey's own profile, which is why many thought the announcement was actually true. As of this writing, the erratum has already been rectified.

Popular Instagram page The Neighborhood Talk originally posted the quote sending it viral in a matter of hours.

The recent booboo was actually the much-needed confirmation of many who have been theorizing that Bailey was pregnant with her boyfriend DDG.

Is Halle Bailey Pregnant?

In the past few months, there were a lot of clues and chatter online that Halle Bailey is hiding her pregnancy through her fashion choices.

At one point, she wore a loose dress during the "Renaissance" tour stop in Atlanta. In a video that was captured by a fan, when Halle turned around, a baby bump can be visibly seen.

A video of DDG's livestream also shows Halle's baby bump while she was in their house wearing normal clothes.

Earlier this week, Halle Bailey sported a loose sweatshirt and sweatpants in a rare outing with DDG. A much larger baby bump can be seen this time, and in one photo, they seemed to have their blood drawn as both of them have bandages on their forearm, akin to someone who had their blood drawn in a medical facility.

As of this writing, there still isn't any confirmation if Bailey is pregnant or not.
