Bella Poarch opened up about what really went on between herself and her ex-husband, Tyler Poarch, and how her fame contributed to the breakdown of their marriage.

"Everything just happened so fast. TikTok happened, and he didn't want to be in the spotlight," the "Build a B**tch" singer explained during her appearance at the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. "I respect that, though."

Poarch began her career in TikTok when she became a viral hit sensation for lip-synching to "M to the B" by Millie B, however, eventually she began working towards becoming an artist.

The fame that comes along with being an artist was not the life Poarch's husband wanted for himself, which is why they decided to divorce.

"It's hard when I want to pursue music. I want to be an artist," she continued. "But when the person you love wants something different, it's hard."

Bella Poarch Debunks Cheating Allegations

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, the TikTok star slash singer addressed the long-standing rumors regarding her divorce and marriage, which many claimed was due to her cheating on her ex.

"We're divorced, but we're on good terms. It was a mutual decision," Poarch clarified. "That's not actually the truth. Nothing like that happened."

Fans were initially shocked when they found out that Poarch was married, especially since they found out after reports of their divorce came about.

She addressed the reactions through a statement shortly following the news, "I'm sorry if everyone thinks I've been keeping it a secret.

"I will address my divorce when I am ready to speak about it," she wrote with finality.

Bella Poarch Establishes Music Career

While Poarch has not fully penetrated the music scene, and she is more widely known as a TikTok influencer, she is trying to forge a music career and establish herself as a singer.

According to reports, she released her daro-pop EP "Dolls" in 2022, and followed it up with a new era and a new single, "Crush," featuring Lauv.

Poarch, born Denarie Taylor, was born to Filipino parents in the Philippines before she was given up for adoption and taken in by her American parents.

As per Pinkvilla, Poarch is the fourth richest TikTok star, coming after Charli and Dexie D'Amelio, and Addison Rae.

These days, the TikTok star slash singer has been focusing more on her music, and promoting it on her TikTok account.
