Earlier this year, Taylor Swift's bodyguard during "The Eras" tour garnered praise when he efficiently protected the singer from fans throwing friendship bracelets at her.

However, fans are now singing a different tune as news reports and Israel's official social media gave Swift a shoutout, "Hey @taylorswift, we promise you'll never find another like him.

"Taylor Swift's #ErasTour bodyguard returned home to fight for his country. We love your Eran," the post reads.

According to reports, the bodyguard returned to Israel as the country join the reserve of the Israel Defense Forces as the war between the country and Hamas continue.

Taylor Swift's Fans Call For Action

The "Anti-Hero" singer's fans were furious when they saw Israel's post, and they accused the country of using Swift as "propaganda," many fans even tagged the singer's publicist Tree Paine.

"This Israel post first provides a piece of info that's misleading (Taylor Swift's bodyguard is fighting for Israel, he isn't her bodyguard or in her employment), & forms an association w/ Taylor Swift by using her lyrics and speaking directly to her as if they were friends," a fan wrote.

The fan also explained how they are using Swift "by association."

The discussion has even reached netizens, who are not fans of the singer: Israel lies about everything, even things as ridiculous as Taylor Swift's bodyguards, and yet the zionists will believe anything they say."

Is He Taylor Swift's Bodyguard or Not?

According to reports, there is no solid confirmation on whether he was employed by Swift's team; many claim that he was hired by the stadium to protect the star.

"This is misinformation (a lie really) He doesn't work for Taylor, he works for the Stadium.

"They saw what Taylor did for NFL tickets and wanted her to do the same for their PR."

Even X has put up a disclaimer alongside Israel's post, noting that the bodyguard was hired by the stadium and is not part of Swift's team.

Additional disclaimers also note that the man named, "Eran," is not the name of the bodyguard, instead it is the name of the journalist who reported the news update.

As of this writing, neither Swift nor anyone from her team have addressed the allegations and there are still debates ongoing online regarding the matter.
