Britney Spears shared the real reason why she posts NSFW photos of herself online.

Before the release of her new memoir "The Woman in Me," excerpts from the book revealed shocking information about the singer and her private life. The sneak peeks that made headlines over the past few weeks were mostly about Justin Timberlake and their past relationship.

Meanwhile, one part of the memoir also shed some light on her decision to post NSFW photos on her social media page.

Why Does Britney Spears Upload NSFW Photos Online?

The newly released excerpt revealed that Spears feels "sexy" and is filled with joy whenever she posts her nude photos because she is in control of the photos of herself that she takes. She also acknowledged that a lot of people do not understand why she does that.

"But I think if they'd been photographed by other people thousands of times, prodded and posed for other people's approval, they'd understand that I get a lot of joy from posing the way I feel sexy and taking my own picture," she continued.

Even the 41-year-old "Everytime" songstress' sons Preston and Jayden had enough of her daring looks online.

Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline revealed that their children decided to avoid their mother because of her "disrespectful actions and choices" by sharing such photos online. While he tried to make the boys understand that she only wants to "express herself," it reportedly did not help Preston and Jayden to feel affected and uncomfortable as they attend their schools.

Meanwhile, Jayden also told UK's ITV that the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer looks like she wants to get attention by posting the photos online.

"This has gone on for years and years and years, and there's a high chance that this is never going to really stop," he went on.

The sons moved to Hawaii with Federline in August, but they have not seen their mother for two years already.

Meanwhile, sources told Page Six that Spears dedicated the book to Preston and Jayden, who she called the love of her life.

Spears will officially release her memoir "The Woman in Me" on October 24.
