After reactivating her Instagram account on Sunday, Britney Spears sent a mysterious message to her more than 42.2 million followers.
The pop artist, 41, raised eyebrows after taking a temporary sabbatical from social media that lasted less than 24 hours by posting a picture of a pink heart-shaped cake with the words "see you in Hell" inscribed in pink frosting.
It's unclear for who the message is intended for but fans can surmise after reading excerpts from her memoir and the singer revealed all the hurt she went through.
The mother-of-two maintained to fans on Friday that her shocking memoir, "The Woman in Me," was not meant to offend or damage anyone's sentiments, however it is unclear to whom she is specifically speaking to now,
After erasing her Instagram account for less than a day, this is her second post since then.
Her Instagram account was briefly deactivated in the midst of shocking discoveries that were revealed in passages from her upcoming autobiography.
Britney acknowledged in the book that she had cheated on Justin with her choreographer Wade Robson. The celebrity also revealed that Justin Timberlake 'wasn't ready to be a father' when she was 19 years old, leading to an abortion.
She published a long letter on the interest in her book just before she deleted her Instagram account.
In black font on a stark white background, she wrote, "I don't like the headlines I am reading." The note continued, "My book was not intended in any way to offend anyone."

It was me back then. That has already happened. She continued, "The majority of the book is from 20 years ago." "I've moved on, and everything is starting over beautifully!!!" "I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life," the pop diva continued.
